The Part of Me That Keeps Pushing
Lately, I’ve been noticing something in myself…
I’ve been hitting a wall more often.
The kind where my body feels tired,
my mind feels foggy,
and I know I need a break.
And yet…
I try to push through anyway
There’s this quiet voice that comes in:
“Just finish one more thing.”
“You can push through this.”
“You haven’t done enough yet to deserve a break.”
And the tricky part is…it sounds reasonable.
Productive, even.
But what I’m starting to see more clearly…
is that it’s not actually me.
It’s a part of me.
A part that learned somewhere along the way:
Rest has to be earned.
Productivity = worth.
Slowing down isn’t safe.
And instead of listening to my body… I override it.
Try to push past the wall.
As if somehow… I can be productive through exhaustion.
Maybe you’ve felt that too?
“Finding hearts everywhere I go”
What’s been different lately…
is that I’m not just believing that voice automatically.
I’m starting to notice it.
And in that noticing…
there’s a little bit of space.
Space to pause.
Space to question.
Space to choose something different.
And that’s the work we’re stepping into next in The Village.
Because last time, we talked about parts.
The ones that react.
The ones that protect.
The ones that carry old stories.
But this time…
we’re talking about something deeper.
SELF.
The part of you that is not reactive.
Not overwhelmed.
Not trying to prove anything.
The part of you that can notice:
“Oh… that’s the part pushing me right now.”
“That’s the part that thinks I haven’t done enough yet.”
And instead of being in it…
you can be with it.
And from that place… everything changes.
Because here’s what most of us don’t realize:
It’s not that we don’t know how to take care of ourselves.
It’s that there are parts of us…
that don’t feel safe doing it.
Parts that believe:
we have to keep going
we’ll fall behind if we stop
we haven’t earned rest yet
And until we meet those parts…
rest will always feel like something we have to justify.
This Saturday inside The Village, we’re exploring:
✨ What SELF actually is (and what it isn’t)
✨ How to recognize when a part is running the show
✨ Why self-worth and self-care are deeply connected
✨ And a simple practice to begin showing up differently

If you’ve been feeling like…
you know you need a break
but keep pushing anyway…
this conversation is for you.
Because this isn’t about doing more.
It’s about relating to yourself differently.
And you don’t have to figure that out alone.
With you,
Priyanka
